The project involves the creation of a theater workshop in three prisons in different European countries: Media Mediterranea in Naples (Italy), the Aufbruch company in Berlin (Germany), and the Apicco company in Athens (Greece).
The three workshops will focus on three performances based on the story and characters of Shakespeare’s MACBETH. Each workshop focuses on a different protagonist and offers a different vision of the conflicts and realities that crime unleashes in the human soul.
The three workshops will be filmed and edited into a documentary film.
The project has been selected and is funded by the “CREATIVE EUROPE” program of the European Community.
